Is it normal for my child to place dental crowns on his baby teeth?
Crowns are often recommended for children with severe dental caries or as part of the pulpal “root canal” treatment, and often times it is the only option we have when a tooth is damaged beyond a certain point. The process of placing a crown on your child’s teeth is not a difficult one & it can be readily fitted & placed during a single visit.

Was passiert wenn das Loch im Milchzahn so tief ist?

Kronen werden oft für Kinder mit tiefer Zahnkaries oder als Teil der Wurzelbehandlung empfohlen. Wenn die Karies ganz tief ist und der Nerv schon betroffen ist, reicht eine Zahnfüllung oft nicht mehr aus, um den Defekt zu reparieren.

In der Regel empfehlen wir für Backenzähne Stahlkronen, dabei haben solche Zähne eine gute Erfolgschance, bis zum natürlichen Zahnwechsel ihre Platzhalterfunktion einzunehmen.

Damit ihr Kind sein strahlend weißes Lächeln nicht verliert, gibt es natürlich auch weiße Kronen aus Vollkeramik. Weiße Kronen fügen sich sehr gut in die vorhandenen Zähne Ihres Kindes ein.

Die Vollnarkose: Schlafe süß!!

-Eine Zahnbehandlung in Vollnarkose eignet sich, wenn eine umfangreiche Zerstörung der Zähne vorliegt und dafür eine umfassende Behandlung benötigt ist. Auch Kinder, die zu jung sind um mitzuarbeiten, sind für solche Behandlung geeigent.

-Bei einer Vollnarkose handelt es sich grundsätzlich um ein Medikament, das Ihr Kind in einen tiefen Schlaf versetzt und dabei dem Zahnarzt ermöglicht, die Behandlung sicher und effektiv durchzuführen.

Wie sieht Karies aus?

Myth!
Teeth cleaning helps clean all the tarter and food remains from between the teeth and gums and also helps with preventing gum bleeding and thus improving the oral health of your child but will never make the teeth go loose or do any damage.

Mythos!
