On the eve of every birthday, new year or milestone of any nature, we often find ourselves shooting the same question into the relentless void: where did the time go? It’s almost as though we’ve been sleepwalking through life, only waking up when something makes loud enough of a bang to startle us into consciousness - and then we lose it again.
So how do we hold onto these fleeting moments of actually being at the wheel? How do we extend these stolen pockets of time where we feel fully and truly alive, consciously forging a path that leads us to where we want to be?
The key is in concocting & maintaining a mindful, value-based way of living, which we know sounds a little kooky - but we promise is much simpler than you think. This Thursday, at the gazebo by the food court, The Psychological Services Centre at BUE will be holding the first of our outdoor events on this journey, helping you Break Free from the Stress Monster one step at a time.
