CytoTic gel is now available in Egypt. This gel is a proprietary gel made in our lab. It is used for embedding of cytology samples, endoscopic biopsies and cultured cells by our own technique. Gel/cell disc is then processed like tissue biopsy. All ancillary techniques can be performed on cells e.g. immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization and molecular tests. This gel protects cells during processing & enhances cellularity of cell block.
