حالة لمريضة ٣٣ عام حضرت للطوارئ بعد تعرضها لحادث سير ادى الى جروح قطعية بالجفن العلوي الايمن و كسور متعددة بالوجنة اليمنى و حجاج العين و القوس العزاري.

تم عمل رد و تثبيت لكسور الوجنة بشرائح و مسامير و تعويض لحجاج العين ب شبكة معدنية و خياطة الجروح القطعية

A 33 y/o patient presnted to the ER after sustaining road traffic accident resulting in fractures of the zygomaticomaxillary complex and orbital floor as well as cut wounds to the right temporal and upper eyelid crossing the lateral canthal area and detaching the lateral canthal tendon.

ORIF as well as orbital floor reconstruction using titanium plates and screws and orbital titanium mesh, respectively.

Lateral canthopexy was done to restore the canthal tendon to the area of whitnall’s tubercle.

حالة لمريض حضر للطوارئ اثر حاث سير مما ادى الى كسور بالوجنة اليمنى و عظام الانف و حافة العين اليسرى و لقمة الفك السفلى اليسرى.

تم عمل رد و تثبيت للكسور بواسطة الشرائح و المسامير التيتانيوم

A 53 Y/O patient presented to the ER after RTA with fractures to his right ZMC, left ZF and maxillary as well as left subcondylar fracture fracture.

Preauricular with Al Khayat Extension was done to reduce and fixate the left subcondylar fracture. left Lateral eyebrow, subciliary and vestibular approaches and exsting laceration across the nasal bridge were done to gain access for open reduction and internal fixation of ZMC and maxillary fractures.

Anatomical reduction and fixation can be appreciated in the post-op CT scan.

حالة لمريضة حضرت لعيادة جراحة الوجه و الفكين تعاني من تشوه بالذقن و الفك السفلي نتيجة ازالة ورم بالفك السفلي.
تم عمل تعويض لعظام الفك السفلي بواسطة رقعة عظمية من الحوض . و سوف يتم عمل زراعة اسنان بعد بضعة اشهر

A case of a defect resulting from enucleation of a large odontogenic keratocyst in the anterior mandible which resulted in severe bony defect with lip incompetence and chin ptosis as well as inability to bite and chew.

Anterior iliac crest bone graft was harvested using a standard medial corticocancellous approach.

Dental rehabilitation with implants will be done in several months.

حالة لمريض ٣٠ عام يعاني من كسر بحجاج العين اليسري مما ادى الى خوص العين داخل الحجاج.

تم عمل تعويض لحجاج العين بواسطة شبكة معدنية و رد لكسر حافة العين بواسطة شرائح و مسامير

A case of left orbital blowout due to a work accident. Patient presented with enopthalmos. Fortunately no other injuries were observed in the left eye except for minor subconjunctival hemorrhage.

Access was gained through an existing laceration and reduction and fixation to the infraorbital rim were done and orbital floor reconstruction was done using titanium mesh.

Orbital volume was restored and enopthalmos corrected.

حالة لمريض ١٦ سنة يعاني من كسور متعددة بالوجه نتيجة تعرضه لحادث سير. المريض يعاني من كسور بالانف و حجاج العين و الوجنة و القوس العزاري و الفك العلوي مما ادي الى تشوه بشكل الوجه و تغيير في وضع العين.
تم عمل رد و تثبيت لكسور الوجه بواسطة الشرائح المعدنية

This 16 y/o patient present presented to our department after sustaining motor vehicle accident which resulted in midfacial fracture.

A coronal, vestibular intraoral and subciliary approaches were used to gain access to the fractures for ORIF using a combination of miniplates and microplates.

A 16 year old young gentleman presented to our department with pure right orbital blowout fracture with enophthalmos and binocular diplopia. Orbital volume was restored using a titanium orbital mesh to reconstruct the orbital floor using a subciliary approach.

حالة لمريض حضر للطوارئ بعد تعرضه لحادث سير مما ادى الى كسور بالوجنة اليمنى و حجاج العين اليمنى و الفك السفلي و ذلك استلزم تدخل من قبل جراحة الوجه و الفكين لرد و تثبيت الكسور بواسطة الشرائح و المسامير المعدنية.

This patient presented to the ER after a road traffic accident which resulted in mandibular parasymphyseal fracture and zygomaticomaxillary complex fracture with lateral orbital wall displacement.

Access to the ZMC fractures were gained through subtarsal eyelid approach and lateral eyebrow approach and a vestibular approach to access the parasymphyseal fracture. ORIF of the parasymphyseal fracture was achieved with 2.0 double plating and ZMC fracture was fixated using a combination of miniplates and microplates to stabilize the floating segment in the lateral orbital rim.

It was felt that coronal access to the zygomatic arch was unjustified to fixate it since there was no esthetic or functional complaint to this site and the risk outweighed the benefit.

A case of 20 years old female sustained a MVA since 6 months prior to our surgery and underwent a frontal craniotomy to evacuate a subdural hematoma. She had a concomitant right ZMC fracture and a frontal bone, orbital roof and supraorbital rim defects and the brain was herniated on the globe resulting in a pulsating eye following the neurosurgical procedure. A calvarial bone graft was utilized for frontal bone and orbital roof reconstruction. The ZMC was done in the same operation.

حالة لمريضة تعرضت لحادث سير مما ادى الى كسور متعددة بالوجه و الجمجمة و نزيف حاد تحت الجافية مما احتاج لتدخل من اطباء المخ و الاعصاب لعمل ازالة لجزء
من الجمجمة لصرف التجمعات الدموية.
بعد استقرار حالة المريضة ب٦ اشهر تم عمل ترميم لكسور الجبهة بواسطة عظام من الجمجمة و اصلاح كسور الوجه و تثبيتها بواسطة الشرائح و المسامير

A patient presented to the ER after falling from height with bilateral mandibular angle fracture which resulted in posterior hyperocclusion and anterior open bite. The patient was not fit for general anesthesia for 5 weeks due to neurological problems which unfortunately resulted in malunion of the fractures. Patient was fit for surgery after 5 weeks and was prepared for surgery. Bilateral angle fractures which malunited were refractured utilizing a submandibular approach and fixated guided by occlusion while the patient is in intermaxillary fixation.

حالة لمريض جاء للطوارئ بعد تعرضه لحادث اثناء العمل و الوقوع من دور مرتفع مما ادى الي كسور متعددة بالجسم و نزيف بالمخ و كسور بزاوية الفك السفلى من الناحية اليمنى و اليسرى.. بعد استقرار حالة المريض الصحية مما استغرق اكثر من شهر تم تحضير المريض لدخول العمليات لرد و لتثبيت كسور الفك السفلي بواسطة الشرائح و المسامير المعدنية.
و نظراً لالتئام الكسور بشكل غير سليم على مدار شهر تم عمل الفتحات من اسفل الفك من الرقبة و كسر العظام و وضعها في اماكنها السليمة.
