How to Protect Your Dog from Heatstroke This Summer! ☀️

Did you know that heat stroke is the #1 life-threatening condition for dogs during hot weather? It can happen faster than you think—even indoors in poorly ventilated rooms or on sunny balconies.

Watch for signs like:
* Excessive panting
* Bright red or pale gums
* Heavy drooling
* Diarrhea or vomiting
* Drowsiness or confusion
* Unresponsiveness or loss of awareness

Prevention is key! ✅ Avoid walking your dog before sunset ✅ Always have fresh water available, even on walks ✅ Make sure your dog stays in shaded, well-ventilated areas during the heat

⛑️ If you notice any signs of heat stroke, especially after a walk or time outside, don’t wait. Rush your dog to the vet immediately. This is a medical emergency.
