The 30th IAPD World Congress – Cape Town, South Africa 🇿🇦 International Association of Paediatric Dentistry

The Egyptian Society for Pediatric Dentistry and Children with Special Needs (ESPSN) proudly represented Egypt at the 30th IAPD World Congress held in the vibrant city of Cape Town.

Prof. Dr. Osama El-Shahawy, President of the ESPSN and the Arabian Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (ArAPD), participated as an invited keynote speaker and represented the ESPSN, the National Society Member of Egypt in the IAPD, during the National Societies Meeting. His presence reflected Egypt’s active contribution to the global pediatric dentistry community.

The congress also witnessed the participation of several ESPSN members, who presented poster presentations showcasing the society’s growing scientific and research presence on the international stage.

The atmosphere in Cape Town truly embodied the spirit of learning, collaboration, and unity among pediatric dentists worldwide. Together, we continue our mission to advance children’s oral health and create brighter smiles — one congress at a time.

🇪🇬 ‏المؤتمر العالمي الثلاثون لطب أسنان الأطفال – كيب تاون، جنوب إفريقيا 🇿🇦

‏تشرفت الجمعية المصرية لطب أسنان الأطفال وذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة (ESPSN) بتمثيل جمهورية مصر العربية في المؤتمر العالمي الثلاثين لطب أسنان الأطفال الذي عُقد في مدينة كيب تاون جنوب افريقيا.

‏شارك الأستاذ الدكتور أسامة الشهاوي – رئيس الجمعية المصرية والأكاديمية العربية لطب أسنان الأطفال (ArAPD) – كأحد المتحدثين الرئيسيين المدعوين، ومثّل الجمعية المصرية ESPSN بصفتها العضو الوطني الممثل لمصر في الاتحاد العالمي لطب أسنان الأطفال (IAPD)، خلال اجتماع الجمعيات الوطنية، في مشاركة تؤكد الحضور الفاعل لمصر في المجتمع العلمي الدولي.

‏كما شارك عدد من أعضاء الجمعية في عرض أبحاثهم ضمن جلسات الملصقات العلمية (Posters)، مما يعكس الدور المتنامي للجمعية ومكانتها العلمية المرموقة عالميًا.

‏ أجواء المؤتمر جسدت روح التعاون والعلم والإنسانية التي تجمع أطباء أسنان الأطفال حول العالم.

تعاون جديد يجمع بين الجمعية المصرية لطب أسنان الأطفال وذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة ومؤسسة إبراهيم بدران الخيرية 💙
استكمالًا لنجاح القافلة الأولى بقرية مرصفا – بنها، انطلقت قافلة جديدة بمشاركة ٧ أطباء ، لتقديم خدمات الكشف والعلاج لأطفال القرية ونشر الوعي الصحي بين الأهالي.

نعتز بهذا التعاون المستمر الذي يهدف لخدمة ابتسامات أطفال مصر في كل المحافظات ❤️

تعاون جديد لخدمة ابتسامات أطفال مصر.

في إطار الدور المجتمعي للجمعية المصرية لطب أسنان الأطفال وذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة، شاركت الجمعية بالتعاون مع مؤسسة إبراهيم بدران الخيرية Ibrahim A. Badran Charitable Foundation - مؤسسة ابراهيم ا. بدران الخيريهفي قافلة طبية للكشف وعلاج أسنان الأطفال بقرية مرصفا – بنها.

خلال القافلة، تم الكشف وتقديم العلاج لحوالي ٢٠٠ طفل بواسطة فريق متميز من خمسة أطباء من أعضاء الجمعية،

يأتي هذا التعاون كبداية لاتفاقية ممتدة للمشاركة في العديد من القوافل الطبية القادمة التي تنظمها المؤسسة في مختلف محافظات مصر، بهدف نشر الوعي الصحي وتقديم الرعاية المتخصصة للأطفال في المناطق الأكثر احتياجًا.

شكر خاص لمؤسسة إبراهيم بدران وفريقها على جهودهم المخلصة، ولكل من ساهم في رسم البسمة على وجوه الأطفال ❤️

مشاركة فاعلة ومؤثرة في مؤتمر الجلالة الدولي لطب الأسنان 2025

الجمعية المصرية لطب أسنان الأطفال وذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة ESPSN شاركت في المؤتمر من خلال:

تأتي هذه المشاركة في إطار التزامنا المستمر بتطوير رعاية الأسنان للأطفال، وتعزيز ممارسات طب الأسنان الشامل، مع التركيز على احتياجات الأطفال ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة.

We are beyond thrilled to announce a landmark collaboration between the Egyptian Society of Pediatric Dentistry and Children with Special Needs ESPSN and the Arabian Academy of Pediatric Dentistry ArAPD the launch of our International Journal Advancements in Pediatric Dentistry AdPD.

This achievement is the accomplishment of a lifetime dream, brought to life through the vision and tireless efforts of our leaders Prof. Osama El Shahawy and Prof. Hany Nazzal.

We pause to honor the memory of the late Prof. Mervat Rashed, founder of the Egyptian Society of Pediatric Dentistry and Children with Special Needs. Her pioneering spirit and legacy continue to inspire us and remain at the heart of every step forward.

We also extend our deepest gratitude to our Chief Editor, Prof. Monty Duggal, whose exceptional leadership and dedication have guided this project to excellence. His vision has been instrumental in shaping the journal into a platform of true international impact.

After a long and inspiring journey, our first issue is now published and today, we celebrate not only a publication, but a shared mission for advancing knowledge, innovation, and excellence in pediatric dentistry across our region and the world.
This is just the beginning and we are proud to share it with our colleagues, members, and community.

في اخر ايام شهر الخير ..ومن خلال مشروع العلاج الخيري لاسنان الاطفال وذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة (ضحكتهم بالدنيا) وفي اطار انهاء قوائم الانتظار لتلقي العلاج قبل العيد …قام فريق من استشاري واساتذه اسنان الاطفال من اعضاء الجمعيه ( ا.د منال الشيخ ،ا.دهاني صابر،ا.د ساره احمد ،د عمرو حسني ) صباح يوم ٢٧ رمضان بإجراء ٩ عمليات علاج شامل تحت التخدير الكلي الاطفال مجانية ومدعمة من الجمعية وشركة تيارا..كل الشكر لكل من ساهم وشارك من فريق طبي وتخدير باشراف د احمد سمير استشاري التخدير وتمريض واداري وخالص الشكر لعيادات جاردينيا التخصصبة
