the Ain Shams University - Neuromodulation Lab aims to establish a state-of-the-art neuromodulation and neuroimaging laboratory complimented by an advanced high definition EEG analysis system, all working in harmony to significantly impact the understanding of brain functions in health and disease and open up unprecedented avenues for clinical research and practice in the Arab region and Africa.

Ain Shams Neuromodulation Lab is proud to be part of Ain Shams University Stroke Center.

The Lab has expanded and added to its capabilities a gait lab to assess and tailor physiotherapy and rehabilitation services to patients with gait impairment, as an example, post-stroke hemiparesis, besides the transcranial magnetic stimulation for candidate patients as well. Such services are present within the Ain Shams University Stroke Center - Hany Aref Unit

A new achievement for ASU - Neuromodulation Lab .. the arrival of our new TMS machine and pairing it to the original navigated TMS and its different components ..

By this pairing beside having a double numbers of pulses that could cover up to 5 years atleast, it is also possible to do paired pulse research and dual stimulation and inhibition for plenty of organic brain lesions like aphasia, motor stroke, Parkinsonism and many more.
