أبرز اللحظات من حفل عشاء الجمعية السويسرية المصرية للأعمال والتجارة في مصر!
يسعدنا أن نشارككم اللحظات التي لا تنسى من حفل عشاء الجمعية السويسرية المصرية للأعمال والتجارة في مصر الذي أقيم في 12 مايو 2025 في المقر السويسري في المعادي. احتفلت هذه الفعالية المرموقة بـ "رحلة القيادة الخالدة".
وقد شرفت الأمسية بحضور معالي الدكتور أندرياس باوم، سفير سويسرا لدى مصر، ومعالي الدكتورة رانيا المشاط، وزيرة التخطيط والتعاون الدولي، التي ألقت كلمة رئيسية ملهمة حول العلاقات الدائمة بين مصر وسويسرا.
كما تشرفنا أيضًا باستضافة معالي السيد عمرو موسى، وزير خارجية مصر السابق والأمين العام السابق لجامعة الدول العربية، كضيف شرف. وقد تم الاحتفاء بإرثه الاستثنائي في القيادة والخدمة العامة بتكريم خاص.

في الأسبوع الماضي، تشرفنا بالترحيب بجود لوف، رئيس منطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ والشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا (APMA)، إلى جانب سونج لي، رئيس قسم الاتصالات ومناصرة المرضى في منطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ والشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا، وتريسي جودريدج، رئيس الأسواق الطموحة في الشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا، في مكتبنا في مصر.
وقد سلطت زيارتهم الضوء على العمل الرائع الذي يحدث في نوفارتس مصر والتزامنا المستمر برؤية جديدة في عالم الدواء للمرضى في جميع أنحاء المنطقة. من المناقشات الاستراتيجية مع فريق القيادة الأساسية لدينا إلى نظرة عامة على تطوراتنا في مجال رعاية مرضى السرطان، كان اليوم بمثابة تبادل قوي للأفكار والإلهام.

Empowering Innovation and Collaboration at Novartis Egypt

نوفارتس مصر وغازتك توقعان اتفاقية لتوريد غاز الميثان الحيوي
عقدت نوفارتس مصر اتفاقية مع شركة غازتك لتوريد غاز الميثان الحيوي لمصنعها بالقاهرة. ويُعد هذا المشروع، الذي يتم تنفيذه من خلال نظام غاز تك المتطور لنقل الغاز الطبيعي المضغوط عبر الشاحنات، الأول من نوعه في مصر لنقل الغاز الحيوي لأغراض صناعية.
تم توقيع الاتفاقية من قبل الدكتور إسلام أنور، رئيس العمليات الفنية في نوفارتس مصر، والمهندس عبد الفتاح فرحات، رئيس مجلس الإدارة والعضو المنتدب لشركة غازتك.
تمثل هذه الشراكة خطوة مهمة نحو دعم الاقتصاد الوطني وتحقيق الاستدامة البيئية. ويُعد المشروع رائداً في مصر في مجال إنتاج الغاز الحيوي وتنقيته ومعالجته لاستخلاص غاز الميثان الذي سيتم نقله من موقع الإنتاج لاستخدامه في عمليات التصنيع بمصنع نوفارتس في القاهرة.
يساهم استخدام الغاز الحيوي في تحقيق توازن مثالي بين الكفاءة التشغيلية والاستدامة البيئية، مما يعزز جهود نوفارتس في مجال الاستدامة على مستوى وحدات الإنتاج والتشغيل. و يعد مصنع نوفارتس مصر من أوائل سلسلة المصانع التابعة لشركة نوفارتس العالمية الذى يعتمد على الطاقة النظيفة في عملياته التشغيلية.
يلتزم مصنع نوفارتس في مصر بالقضاء على الانبعاثات الكربونية خلال السنوات القليلة المقبلة. وتشمل الجهود الحالية لتحقيق هذا الهدف الحصول على الطاقة الكهربائية النظيفة من وحدات الطاقة المتجددة الحكومية، ھذا إلى جانب المجھودات الآخرى المبذولة لتوفیر المیاة عن طريق معالجتھا ذاتیاَ لإعادة استخدامھا فى المرافق الآخري و أیضاَ تقلیل النفایات فى خطوط التغلیف و التعبئة، بالإضافة إلى تحسین أنظمة التدفئة والتھویة للحد من الإنبعاثات الكربونیة الآخري.


Novartis Egypt and Gastec Sign Agreement on Biomethane Supply
Novartis Egypt has signed an agreement with Gastec to supply biomethane gas to its manufacturing facility in Cairo. This initiative, facilitated through Gastec's advanced system for transporting compressed natural gas by trucks, marks Egypt's first project to transport biogas for industrial use.
The agreement was formalized by Dr. Islam Anwar, Head of Technical Operations at Novartis Egypt, and Eng. Abdel Fattah Farhat, Chairman and Managing Director of Gastec.
This supply agreement represents a significant step towards supporting the national economy and achieving environmental sustainability. The project is pioneering in Egypt for the production, filtration, and treatment of biogas to extract biomethane gas, which will be transported from its production site for use in operations at Novartis's Cairo manufacturing facility.
The utilization of biogas strikes an ideal balance between operational efficiency and environmental sustainability, contributing to enhanced sustainability efforts at Novartis's operations and production units. This initiative positions Novartis Egypt as one of the first manufacturing sites within Novartis globally to rely on clean energy for its operating processes.
Novartis's manufacturing site in Egypt is committed to achieving zero carbon emissions within the next few years. Current efforts towards this goal include receiving clean electric power from government renewable energy units, recycling of water from different sources to be reused as a technical water in utilities operation by inhouse Waste-Water treatment plant, reducing waste in packaging lines, and optimizing heating and ventilation systems to minimize carbon emissions.

The manufacturing plant is situated in Al-Amiria District, Cairo. Total site size is 80’000 Sq m including all the necessary infrastructure. The manufacturing site is accommodated with the latest technology, maintaining its operations to the highest standards of the pharmaceutical industry, complying with the latest GXP and Quality requirements as well as expanding its capacity for potential volume growth.

Novartis has been awarded from APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) and received APICS Corporate Award of Excellence - Transformation in Oct 2018 rewarding all Novartis manufacturing sites for driving improvements in the supply chain with its excellence program “NOSSCE”. With this accolade, Novartis enter an elite club of worldwide winners.

Sandoz, a Novartis division, has a broad product portfolio encompassing almost 1,000 molecules across different therapeutic areas, which helped cement our leading position in generics and biosimilars. Sandoz products have reached more than 500 million patients worldwide. Our diverse portfolio in Egypt spans anti-infectives, treatments for respiratory diseases, pain management, gastro-intestinal diseases, oncology, and biosimilar products.
