Nahdet El Mahrousa (NM) is an Egyptian not-for-profit, non-governmental organization (NPO/NGO) that builds the capacities of organizations to improve and expand their social impact. نهضة المحروسة هي جمعية أهلية غير حكومية يقودها مجموعة من الشباب المصري، وقد تأسست نهضة المحروسة و تم إشهارها قانوناً بوزارة التضامن الاجتماعي في نوفمبر من عام 2003. تسعى جمعية نهضة المحروسة لإحداث تأثير إيجابي ومستمر على تنمية مصر ثقافياً واقتصادياً واجتماعياً عن طريق إشراك الشباب المصري وتفعيل دورهم.

يحتضن البرنامج الريادي للجمعية "حضّانة المشروعات الاجتماعية المبتكرة" أفكار صناع التغيير ذوو القدرات والمهارات العالية ويمكنّهم ليقوموا بأدوار قادة الابتكار المجتمعي بمصر. احتضنت نهضة المحروسة منذ تأسيسها في عام 2003 ما يزيد عن ٢٨٥ مشروع مجتمعي في مجالات متعددة مثل الطاقة البديلة و الحفاظ علي البيئة و الزراعة المستدامة و الصحة والثقافة و التكنولوجيا و تنمية الشباب والتعليم . Nahdet el Mahrousa (NM), or "Renaissance of Egypt", seeks to make a positive and lasting impact on Egypt's cultural, economic, and social development by activating and engaging young Egyptians. Groot develops hydroponics systems and vertical towers produced mainly through 3D printing.

Financial support allowed the team to purchase 3D printers, raw materials, and booths and lease a company headquarters. Following the program’s guidance, they also organized training and awareness activities in technology schools in 6th of October City.

تطوّر "جروت" أنظمة للزراعة المائية وأبراج زراعية عمودية من خلال تقنية الطباعة ثلاثية الأبعاد.

من خلال الدعم المالي، استطاع الفريق أن يشتري طابعات 3D وخامات وأماكن عرض، ويستأجر مقر للشركة. وبناءً على إرشادات البرنامج، نفّذوا تدريبات وأنشطة توعوية في مدارس التكنولوجيا بمدينة 6 أكتوبر.

Smart Vision specializes in smart agriculture systems — from automated barley sprouting rooms to smart greenhouses designed for tech-enabled farming.

With program support, the company received market research, budgeting, and business planning support and trained 120+ women across four agricultural centers in Asyut on rooftop farming, medicinal plants, and sprouted barley techniques.

تقدّم سمارت ڤيجِن حلول للزراعة الذكية — من غرف إنبات الشعير الأوتوماتيكية لبيوت زراعية ذكية مجهّزة للتكنولوجيا الزراعية الحديثة.

من خلال البرنامج، الشركة طوّرت شغلها في أبحاث السوق والتسعير والتخطيط المالي، وقدرت تدرّب أكتر من 120 سيدة في ٤ مراكز زراعية في أسيوط على الزراعة فوق الأسطح والنباتات الطبية وإنبات الشعير.

Through the program’s technical support — including finance, marketing, and supply chain — the team advanced their R&D work, equipped labs, expanded traction, and began hiring full-time talent.

تعد "بي فيتا" إحدى الشركات الناشئة والتي تعمل في مجال التكنولوجيا الحيوية، عن طريق تعيد تدوير المخلفات الزراعية والطحالب لإنتاج خامات طبيعية تُستخدم في صناعات الأغذية والمشروبات ومستحضرات التجميل.

استطاع الفريق أن يطور أعمال الـR&D، وأن يجهّز المعامل، ويوسّع حجم النشاط، وتعيين موظفين بدوام كامل؛ وذلك من خلال الدعم في الماليات والتسويق وسلاسل الإمداد.

What does it take to build an agri-tech startup in Egypt?

The Smart-Agri Egypt program has worked closely with founders over 12 months to help answer this question — supporting agri-tech companies in Egypt, from early-stage startups to scaleups.

As part of this journey:
• 18 new jobs were created by agri-tech startups and scaleups
• 202 individuals experienced improved working conditions
• 476 people received training in the agri-tech sector

Today, we’re kickstarting a video series spotlighting 9 startups that joined the Smart-Agri incubation track — each working on a different challenge in the agri-tech sector. Over 12 months, the startups received tailored business, technical, and financial support to test their solutions on the ground.

ما هي العوامل الأساسية لنجاح الشركات الناشئة في مجال التكنولوجيا الزراعية في مصر؟

عمل برنامج Smart-Agri Egypt على دعم روّاد الأعمال (سواء في المراحل المبكرة أو في مرحلة النمو) في هذا المجال لمدة ١٢ شهر، لتمكين الشركات الناشئة العاملة في التكنولوجيا الزراعية.

وخلال هذا البرنامج:
