بدعم من الاتحاد الأوروبي، قامت منظمة الصحة العالمية في مصر بتوريد جهاز أشعة مقطعية، بالإضافة إلى إعادة تأهيل وحدة الأشعة المقطعية بالكامل في مستشفى أم الأطباء بمحافظة الجيزة.
ستُسهم هذه الخدمات المطورة في ضمان التشخيص الدقيق وفي الوقت المناسب لكل من المصريين واللاجئين، بما يدعم نحو 5,400 مريض سنويًا.
كما يدعم هذا التدخل التوسع في خدمات المستشفى في مجال جراحة الأطفال وعلاج العيوب الخلقية، حيث تُعدّ تقنيات التصوير المتقدمة عنصرًا أساسيًا في التشخيص ووضع خطط العلاج والمتابعة.
هذا النشاط يأتي ضمن البرنامج المشترك للأمم المتحدة في إطار المنصة المشتركة للمهاجرين واللاجئين في مصر، والممول من الاتحاد الأوروبي.
Thanks to the European Union, WHO Egypt has procured and installed a CT scanner and fully refurbished the CT imaging unit at Om El Atebaa Hospital in Giza Governorate.
These upgraded services will help ensure timely, accurate diagnosis for both Egyptians and refugees, supporting around 5,400 patients each year.
This intervention also supports the hospital’s expanded work in pediatric surgery and the treatment of congenital anomalies, where advanced imaging is key in diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
This activity is part of the United Nations Joint Programme under the Joint Platform for Migrants and Refugees in Egypt, funded by the European Union.
