He qualified from Kasr AlAIni School of Medicine, Cairo University in 2010 and undertook his postgraduate training in endocrinology and diabetes Kasr AlAini University Hospital. Dr Shady received his master degree in Internal medicine, Diabetes and Endocrinology from the Faculty of medicine, Cairo University. He currently lectures internal medicine, diabetes and endocrinology at the New Giza University. He has several influential research papers in high impact journals in the field of Diabetes and Endocrinology
