Misr Al Jadida (Mahmoud Fayez) Hospital For Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care is the only facility in the region with a 10-bed, Level III neonatal & pediatric intensive care unit (NICU). The Level III designation means that we provide the most advanced neonatal services, have neonatal specialists available around the clock, and are equipped to treat the most critically ill babies. Our NICU & PICU care for premature newborns, infants & children in need of special medical attention. The Medical team includes highly-certified physicians, resident physicians and nurses. They work together to provide the highest levels of neonatal & pediatric critical care. We have a specially trained emergency transport team and an ambulance outfitted with customized newborn equipment to transport premature newborns and critically ill infants to our facility. Should your baby require care in our NICU, we will work closely with you to teach you about your baby’s condition and special needs. Depending on your baby’s condition, we will encourage you to hold, feed, rock, and cuddle your newborn as much as possible throughout the NICU stay
