Yesterday marked the grand opening of the 9th International Forum for the Arts of People with Special Abilities “Awladna”, held under the patronage of H.E. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The forum was inaugurated with a heartfelt speech from First Lady Entissar El-Sisi, addressing participants of this inspiring annual gathering.

Taking place from September 18–25 at the Cairo Opera House under the theme “Color It with Joy”, the event is organized in collaboration with the Ministries of Social Solidarity, Culture, Youth & Sports, Tourism & Antiquities, Planning & Economic Development, along with the National Council for Women and the National Council for Childhood & Motherhood.

The opening ceremony was attended by Dr. Ahmed Fouad Henawy (Minister of Culture), Dr. Ashraf Sobhy (Minister of Youth & Sports), Dr. Maya Morsy (President of the National Council for Women), Dr. Sahar El-Sonbaty (President of the National Council for Childhood & Motherhood), Dr. Iman Karim (General Supervisor of the National Council for Persons with Disabilities), Dr. Nevine El-Kilany (Former Minister of Culture), Ms. Soheir Abdel Kader (Chairwoman of Awladna Foundation and Forum President), Dr. Zeina Tawkal (Executive Director of “Differently Abled” Fund), along with distinguished artists, public figures, and international guests.
