OSON products are the result of an inspiring story of four orphan children (Emad, Somaia, Omayma, and Nabil) who tragically lost their parents. Their father who used to work as builder died after he slid down from the scaffold. The mother died five years later suffering from liver damage caused by Hepatitis C. The children lived thereafter with their poor aunt who couldn’t even meet their most basic needs. The eldest son (Emad) unfortunately had to drop out of school and started to work in order to support his family so that they were able to survive. The young brother Nabil couldn’t survive and died after a longer suffering from a rare disease and lack of efficient medical care. Esthy Asante, a Ghanaian lady, who was on a voluntary mission in Cairo decided to support Omda as he liked to be called - by teaching him the art of making natural soap by using some pure essential oils and magical raw material produced in Ghana to start producing natural soap with unique natural ingredients. Omda showed a remarkable talent in applying of what he has learnt and develop a unique soap characterized by its healthy and natural ingredients which is very useful to everybody’s skin. Omda managed to improve his economic conditions and was able to financially support his two sisters so that they could complete their formal education and thus contribute also to their marriage costs. Inspired by the story of this poor family, the OSON team has a strong commitment for social responsibility. OSON mobilizes communities and connect sponsors to the needy and deprived for a better life of orphans, people with special needs as well as the homeless!
