في ظل الحرب، تستمر الحياة في مستشفى كوستي للولادة بولاية النيل الأبيض في #السودان.

بدعم من صندوق الأمم المتحدة للسكان، يشهد المستشفى ولادة آلاف الأطفال كل عام، ويقدّم الرعاية والأمل للأسر النازحة.

القابلة فاطمة الدومة تعمل في المستشفى منذ خمسة عقود، تساند النساء ليضعن مواليدهن بأمان رغم النقص في الإمدادات والانقطاعات المتكررة للكهرباء.

يواصل صندوق الأمم المتحدة للسكان دعم العاملين الصحيين مثل فاطمة بالمستلزمات والمعدات الحيوية — لكن الحاجة إلى مزيد من الدعم لا تزال ملحّة.
