تستحق أن تُرى، وأن يُصغى إليها، وأن تُعامَل باحترام.

تجعل القابلات تجربة الولادة لحظة رعاية وثقة واختيار. ومع ذلك، لا يزال عدد القابلات في مختلف أنحاء المنطقة العربية غير كافٍ لتلبية احتياجات النساء، مما يعرّض الأرواح واستمرارية الرعاية للخطر.

يدعو صندوق الأمم المتحدة للسكان في الدول العربية إلى الاستثمار العاجل في القابلات—لأن وجود القابلات يُحدث تحولاً حقيقياً في الرعاية، ويُمكّن النساء من الازدهار.

Across , drought has left 6.5 million people facing acute food insecurity, worsening displacement and humanitarian needs.

Women and girls face rising risks of gender-based violence, limited access to sexual and reproductive health services, and increased maternal health complications across affected regions.

Since January 2026, UNFPA reached 44,000+ people with life-saving services. Yet only 19% of the appeal is funded.

Urgent support is needed.

In the first quarter of 2026, worsening drought conditions in Somalia continued to drive humanitarian needs, with 6.5 million people facing high levels of acute food insecurity. Displacement increased across camps and hard-to-reach areas.

1.2M people—including 300K+ women of reproductive age—urgently need SRH and GBV services. Access remains severely constrained.

In April, UNFPA reached 70K+ people, but only 25% of the US$7.5M appeal is funded.

Urgent support is needed.

Across , 8.8 million people remain displaced as fighting intensifies. Women and girls face escalating risks of gender-based violence, including sexual violence, child marriage, and intimate partner violence.

Despite severe access and protection challenges, UNFPA scaled up life-saving sexual and reproductive health and GBV services, reaching over 180,000 people in April 2026.

But needs continue to outpace resources. In 2026, UNFPA requires US$129.2 million to respond — with only 29% funded to date.

Women and girls cannot wait.

Climate shocks are not gender neutral. They fuel displacement, heighten the risk of violence, and cut off women and girls from life-saving health, protection and support services.

Building resilience starts with investing in the essential services women and girls rely on to survive, recover and thrive. From sexual and reproductive health care to protection and social support, these services must remain accessible before, during and after crises.

لا ينبغي حرمان أي امرأة من التعليم أو العمل أو الحياة اليومية في أي مكان أو زمان لمجرد أنها تحيض.
