His private clinic in Maadi offers an outpatient hospital on the 6th floor, and a private practice on the 3rd floor for consultations, post op follow-up visits and minor non-surgical procedures. Inpatient surgeries are performed at the state of the art private hospital Al Shifa in New Cairo. Question: "I’m 37 years old, and my smile lines are bothering me. I don’t want filler or Botox—would a facelift be suitable for me, or is it something for an older age? And how much does it cost?"

Dr. Ashraf: "The concern here is smile lines, also known as nasolabial folds.
There are different treatment options depending on your goals:
The simplest and quickest solution is fillers. They give very good results, but they are temporary and need to be repeated every few months.
If you prefer a longer-lasting option with a single procedure, we can consider fat injection, sometimes combined with liposuction and a technique called subcision to release the lines.
In cases where there is noticeable sagging of the tissues, a more comprehensive procedure like a facelift may be recommended, with or without fat transfer.
The best choice always depends on your individual case and what outcome you’re looking for."

Honored to have contributed as a panelist at the Annual Conference of the Egyptian Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (ESPRS), held in collaboration with ICOPLAST.
It was a privilege to engage in scientific discussion alongside respected colleagues from different regions.
