In 1997 Shotec as a private company in Germany has started the activities serving the Egyptian market by suppling technical equipment and consulting for the Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil and Gas fields in cooperating with a group of European Principals including suppliers and manufacturers. In 2000 Shotec Egypt built a strong relationship with customers and got the trust of the German suppliers and manufacturers. In 2006, Together with EGPC “Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation”, Enppi, Petrojet and RuhRPumpen GmbH we established the joint venture sister company “RuhRPumpen Egypt” for the production and service of API centrifugal pumps in Egypt with a share of 15 % from our SHOTEC GmbH Company in Germany. We expanded our markets to cover water and waste water applications, fertilizers, steel industries, power Generation, paper, paint, food industries as well as pharma and general Industries fields. Consequently we increased our principals list to include several types of pumps, compressors, motors, couplings, mechanical seals, piping bulk materials, valves, complete process packages and process plants. In 2008 Shotec S.A.E has been endorsed under the ministry of investment as a shareholding company to prove more financial stability and strong consistency in providing to the Egyptian market full cover and supports for all projects from Pre-tendering consulting, supplying, installation and full after sales services with technical supports. Our activities have been extended to design and fabricate complete pumps train for deferent complicated applications. In 2009 SHOTEC entered the gulf market with SHOTEC GULF. In 2013 we established our workshop, authorized service center and warehouse in 6th of October City. In Jan 2015 SHOTEC S.A.E has successfully obtained the quality management system ISO9001 and the Health and Safety System OHSAS18001 covering the Supply of Design & Engineering for packages and systems as well as Sales and after sales for Engineering Equipment including pumps, valves, piping, electrical and control.
