Breaking silos for better care.
Servier Egypt proudly led the first multidisciplinary meeting on Glioma care under the umbrella of the Supreme Council of Educational Hospitals.
This landmark event brought together experts in Oncology, Radiology, Neurosurgery, and Pathology to initiate real collaboration in the fight against Glioma—fostering open dialogue, sharing real cases, and setting the foundation for integrated MDT practices in Egypt.
A strong step toward our commitment to patient-centric innovation and early, coordinated intervention.

قادت سيرفييه مصر بفخر اول اجتماع متعدد التخصصات (MDT) حول رعاية الورم الدبقي (الجليوما) تحت مظلة المجلس الأعلى للمستشفيات التعليمية.
جمع هذا الحدث الهام خبراء في علم الأورام والأشعة وجراحة الأعصاب وعلم الباثولوجي لبدء تعاون حقيقي في مكافحة الورم الدبقي - تعزيز الحوار المفتوح، ومشاركة الحالات الواقعية، ووضع الأساس لممارسات MDT المتكاملة في مصر.

فاكر إن الجليوما (أورام المخ) آمنة ومش بتتطور؟!
مش معنى إنها نوع من أورام المخ منخفضة الدرجة يعني مش هتنمو.
ممكن تبدأ بسيطة، بس مع الوقت تتحول لنوع أخطر!
أعراض الجليوما:
- صداع متكرر
- نسيان، أو بطء في التركيز
- تشنجات أو نوبات بسيطة
- ضعف خفيف في طرف أو عدم اتزان
لو حسيت بأي عرض من الأعراض دي، استشير دكتور فوراً...

🧠 On Monday 26th May, we stood together at Servier Egypt to recognize Glioma Awareness Day.
At Servier, we are deeply committed to advancing research in hard-to-treat cancers. Our mission is to ensure that no patient is left behind by addressing their unmet needs, including those facing the immense challenges of brain tumors like glioma.
Glioma is a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer that significantly impacts the quality of life, especially among young patients.
In this context, with the presence of eminent Professor Ahmed Magdy Rabea & Professor Nervana Hassan, we participate in Go Grey in May to raise awareness and to support glioma patients throughout Egypt.

يوم الأثنين الموافق 26 مايو، وقفنا جميعًا في سيرفييه مصر للاحتفال بيوم التوعية بمرض الجليوما
في سيرفييه نحن ملتزمون بشدة بدعم الأبحاث في مجال السرطانات التي يصعب علاجها. مهمتنا هي ضمان ألا يُترك أي مريض دون رعاية من خلال تلبية احتياجاتهم بما في ذلك أولئك الذين يواجهون التحديات الكبيرة لأورام المخ مثل الجليوما
الجليوما هو نوع نادر ومتطور من سرطان المخ يؤثر بشكل كبير على جودة الحياة، خاصة بين المرضى الشباب.
وفي هذا السياق، وبحضور الأستاذ الدكتور أحمد مجدي ربيع والأستاذة الدكتورة نيرفانا حسن، نشارك في حملة "جو جراي" في مايو لرفع الوعي ودعم مرضى الجليوما في جميع أنحاء مصر

صداع خفيف؟ أو نسيان متكرر؟ خد بالك!
ممكن تكون أعراض بسيطة، لكن أحيانًا بتكون علامة على ورم الجليوما (أورام المخ)، اللي بينمو ببطء وممكن يفضل شهور أو حتى سنين من غير ما يتشخّص صح!

وبمناسبة إن مايو هو شهر التوعية بأورام المخ، حابين نفكّرك إن لو حسيت بأي عرض من الأعراض دي، استشير الدكتور فورًا…
