هناك 3 أنواع من الأشعة فوق البنفسجية:
UVA: تدخل بعمق في الجلد والمسؤولة عن الشيخوخة المبكرة للبشرة وسرطان الجلد.
UVB: أقوى من الآشعة فوق البنفسجية A. وهي تؤثر على الطبقات الخارجية من الجلد، مما يتسبب في الحروق وأيضاً الشيخوخة المبكرة وسرطان الجلد. هذه الآشعة هي الأقوى خلال أشهر الصيف – وخاصةما بين الساعة 11 ص حتي الساعة 4 م .
UVC: هي أقوى وأخطر الآشعة فوق البنفسجية. لكن الحمد لله رب العالمين يمنعها الغلاف الجوي ولا تصل إلى سطح الأرض.
There are 3 types of UV rays:
UVA: It penetrates deep into the skin and is responsible for premature aging of the skin and skin cancer. UVB: Stronger than UVA radiation. It mainly affects the outer layers of the skin, causing sunburns, premature aging of the skin, and skin cancer. These rays are strongest during the summer months – especially between 11 am and 4 pm.
UVC: The strongest, most dangerous form of UV light. However, they are stopped by the earth’s atmosphere and do not reach earth’s surface.
