Vancomycin is a glycopeptide antibiotic which is recommended as a treatment for several infections such as: Enterocolitis caused by Staphylococcus aureus (including methicillin-resistant strains), Endocarditis & Clostridium difficile-associated Diarrhea.
But if it's not used the right way, it may cause a serious condition called "Red Man Syndrome".

Omeprazole is probably one of the most used drugs by so many patients to treat certain stomach and esophagus problems (such as acid reflux, heartburn, ulcers & hypersecretory conditions) but whether it's used as an over the counter drug or being prescribed by the physician, we all have to know that it has so many drug interactions that may change how medications work or increase the risk for serious side effects ,so caution must be taken when using Omeprazole with other drugs.
