🚨 Emergency Case in the ER 🚨
A 25-year-old male arrived at the emergency department yesterday after hitting his head on the ground. Despite the trauma, he was conscious and his neurological examination was good. However, the surgeon’s intuition led us to request a head CT scan. 🧠
Surprisingly (or not 😅), we discovered a large depressed skull fracture that could have been life-threatening. A decision was made, and surgical correction was performed. Now, the patient is completely normal, with a good follow-up CT scan. He was discharged just two days later. 🙌
This always reminds us to trust our surgeon’s intuition! 🩺💡
