The MiroCam® capsule endoscopy is the smallest capsule among existing capsules, and yet provides the widest viewing angle.
MiroCam® Capsule endoscopy is effectively used as a diagnostic tool for small bowel diseases through simple & wireless procedure :-

- First, Patient swallows MiroCam® capsule, as the capsule passes through the patient’s body, it takes pictures and these are transmitted to a data recorder.
-The pictures are then transferred to a computer where the results are read by the Consultant Gastroenterologist for diagnosis.
- MiroCam®capsule is passed out of the body naturally.
- MiroCam® capsules are used once then disposed.

MiroCam® Capsule endoscopy has dramatically changed the diagnosis and management of many diseases of the small intestine.
