Here is some advices for the cold weather to protect your mucles and bones :
-Keeping your body warm improves blood circulation to your joints and muscles, making them less stiff and painful.
- Regular, gentle exercise (even indoors!) is crucial. Movement helps lubricate your joints and keeps muscles flexible, reducing the risk of aches and injuries. Avoid sudden, strenuous activity in the cold.
- Dehydration can affect your cartilage and joint fluid. Drink plenty of water throughout the day, even if you don't feel as thirsty.
- Ensure you're getting enough Vitamin D and Calcium, vital for bone health. Sun exposure is limited in winter, so consider supplements after consulting your doctor.
- Before any activity, take extra time to warm up your muscles and joints to prepare them for movement.
