A smile makeover isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about function, harmony, and long-term stability.

After completing orthodontic treatment, this patient was referred to me to enhance their smile. The patient had a missing permanent lateral incisor, so I reshaped the permanent canine to serve as a lateral incisor, creating a more balanced and natural look.
Additionally, I restored the primary canine with a composite filling to keep it functional until the patient reaches adulthood. Despite the natural shade differences—since primary teeth are whiter and permanent canines are darker—the goal was to achieve a seamless, natural appearance. A small yet impactful transformation for both function and beauty!

Orthodontic care has the power to transform not only your smile but also your confidence and overall quality of life.

A 16 years old female patient came complaining of crooked teeth and gap between her top and bottom jaw (AKA: Open-bite).
Treatment plan included Extraction of 4 teeth (U4s,L6s) with maximum anchorage using mini-implants.

After extraction of both U4s, loss of anchorage was expected due to the increased vertical proportions and the increased inclination of the upper labial segment so dead coil was placed to preserve the space for anchorage demand.

During the retraction phase after complete space closure, the LR8 erupted with mesial tipping, so uprightening device using mini-implant was used to align the LR8. Making sure that the L8s are in good position and aligned was our aim to at least have two molars per quadrant.

20 months were enough to treat the lower canines rotations, upper high canine and lower midline shift.

Now she can smile big and laugh often ❤️
