We would like to congratulate Professor Abdel Nasser Tawfik Abdel Nasser Tawfik's Page, Professor Azzah Alshehri (Hafr Al Batin University, Saudi Arabia) and Doctor Antonio Pasqua (University of Trieste, Italy) for the online publication of their paper titled "Expansion Evolution of Nonhomogeneous Metric with Quantum-Mechanically Revisited Fundamental Metric Tensor" in Physics B of Elsevier.

https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0550321325001026

In this paper, a quantum geometric approach, a framework incorporating a quantum-mechanically revisited metric tensor, applies a mean-field approximation on the integrated quantum operators. In contrast to the results obtained with conventional metric tensor, the quantum-mechanically induced revision of the metric tensor seems to provide a framework for controlling singularities in the new formulation of general relativity. The degree of quantization likely influences the ability to regulate or even potentially remove both singularities. We conclude that the proposed geometric quantization provides a means to explore the quantum nature of spacetime curvatures, emphasizing that the singularity dilemma arose primarily from the standard semi-classical approximation of Einstein's general relativity.

We would like to congratulate the team of researchers led by Professor Abdel Nasser Tawfik Abdel Nasser Tawfik's Page for publishing their sentimental paper entitled with "Einstein-Gilbert-Straus solution of Einstein Field equations: Timelike geodesic congruence with conventional and quantized fundamental metric tensor" in Nuclear Physics, Section B, Volume 1014, Page 116866, year 2025!
The paper provides significant insights into the dynamics of various kinematic quantities, including the expansion (volume scalar), shearing (anisotropy), rotation (vorticity), and the Ricci identity (local gravitational eld) as combined in the Raychaudhuri equation which describes how these quantities correlate and contribute to the characteristics and onset of space and initial singularities. To the main conclusion we find that a) a singularity-free solution of EFE is achieved in both space and time using either the conventional or quantized fundamental metric tensor, and b) the quantized fundamental metric tensor, which provides a significant extension of general relativity into relativistic and quantum regimes, seems to naturally lead to the quantization of the Raychaudhuri equation, thereby greatly enhancing the strength of such a solution. The Einstein-Gilbert-Strau (EGS) metric exhibits significant differences from both the Schwarzschild and FLRW metrics, suggesting that the conclusion regarding the nonsingularity of the EGS is likely independent of the specific model employed. Additionally, the Ricci and Kretschmann scalars seem to provide evidence that the proposed geometric quantization reveals nonsingularity which is fundamentally real, intrinsic, and essential rather than an artifact arising from a specfiic choice of coordinates.
