Radiographic analysis revealed a 10 mm infrabony defect requiring advanced regenerative management.

🔹 Surgical protocol:
1️⃣ Papilla incision and full-thickness buccal flap detachment (Fig.9)
2️⃣ Opening of the inter-incisive papilla and palatal flap reflection to fully expose the defect (Fig.10)
3️⃣ Injection of amelogenins at the base of the defect
4️⃣ Filling the defect with RE-BONE® xenograft mixed with amelogenins
5️⃣ Stabilization using a SHELTER® membrane for guided bone regeneration and tissue protection

📸 One year post-surgery, both radiographic and clinical follow-up confirm successful bone regeneration and periodontal stability.

🦷 Regenerative therapy of a 1–2 wall infrabony periodontal defect using the single flap approach technique.

🔹 Step-by-step clinical procedure:
1️⃣ Incision and flap elevation with single flap approach (Fig.1)
2️⃣ Intra-operative measurement showing a 9 mm infrabony defect (Fig.2)
3️⃣ Scaling and root planing performed with curettes and rotary instruments (Fig.3)
4️⃣ Root surface conditioning with EDTA (Fig.4)
5️⃣ RE-BONE® xenograft mixed with amelogenins to enhance regeneration (Fig.5)
6️⃣ Closure with internal mattress sutures and cyanoacrylate for stability (Fig.6)

Radiographic examination revealed an orofrontal fracture of tooth 35, which was extracted to allow implant placement combined with regenerative biomaterial RE-BONE® and SHELTER® membrane stabilization.

Following extraction, the implant was positioned in the edentulous site and the defect filled with RE-BONE® biomaterial.
The area was then stabilized using a SHELTER® FAST membrane, ensuring proper bone regeneration and graft protection.

🩺 Two months post-surgery, radiographic control confirmed healthy bone formation and stable implant integration — a successful regenerative outcome both functionally and biologically.

A patient presenting with aesthetic complications due to previous implant malposition.
📸 Baseline radiographic control showed an implant placed too close to the buccal side, requiring removal and defect management.

Following extraction, the bone defect was regenerated using RE-BONE® xenograft (1–2 mm), covered and stabilized with a SHELTER® SLOW membrane (0.8 mm) fixed with titanium pins.

✨ The result: excellent bone regeneration and ideal tissue morphology at the time of prosthetic restoration — achieving both function and aesthetics.

🦷 TRAUMA FRACTURE

Patient with traumatic fracture of tooth 14.
One month after extraction, a severe vertical and horizontal bone defect was observed — not suitable for immediate implant placement.

To restore bone volume, RE-BONE® (1–2 mm) was used to promote hard tissue regeneration, stabilized with a SHELTER® SLOW membrane (0.4 mm) fixed using titanium nails.

📸 Follow-up X-ray at 4 months post-implant placement confirms excellent bone healing and volume gain.
