Yesterday was truly a special day.

Not only because my Master’s degree candidate, Afraa, successfully defended her thesis on clear aligners — a topic that reflects the evolution of modern orthodontics —

but also because it marked a milestone moment:
for the first time, Associate Professor Mai Abu El-Fotooh joined the thesis defense committee as a referee.

Additionally, was my first supervision with my brother Associate Professor Mohammad Abd ElGhafour, who was just promoted “fast Track”.

And finally, we were honored by the presence of Professor Maha Mostafa, Head of the Orthodontic Department at Al-Azhar University (Girls’ Section), who joined the defense as a distinguished member of the referee committee. Her participation added great academic value and prestige to this memorable day.
