For many years ago medical trips and around the globe visits has increased my knowledge specially about Swedish society and cultural patterns in general and the Swedish neuro-surgical school in particular. I think this helps and contributes to the internationalization of education and research. Concerning neurosurgery. I had the opp
ortunity to attend clinical rounds, Outpatient clinics, and to see neurosurgery operations some of which were done in a different way in our country. I had the chance and opportunity to see a new therapeutic alternative to pain relieving pills without known side effects. Transcutaneous nerve stimulation-and to see the excellent results obtained in various acute and chronic conditions accompanied by pain. As I was especially interested in microneuro-surgery, I have attended many operations where the microscope was used similarly I did the course of micro neurosurgery on rats in the experimental laboratory. Finally, I had the opportunity to make a panorama of Scandinavian neurosurgery by visiting the following neurosurgical centers and spending a week in each of them.
1- The neurosurgical department, Sahlgrenska Sjukhuset professor Lindgren University of Gothenburg – professor sten lingren – in Gothenburg I had also the opportunity to participate in the international conference on craniofacial surgery.
2- The neurosurgical department, Karolinska Sjukhuset, Stockholm – professor l. granholm.
3- The neurosurgical department ullevål sykehus in oslo –professor R. naesbacken.
4- The neurosurgical department, rikshospitalet in oslo –professor N. Zwetnov.
5- The neurosurgical department Helsingfors Universitet central Synthhus in Helsinki- prof. Tourp.
6- These visits have increased my knowledge about the Scandinavian society, cultural life and education in general and the Scandinavian Neurosurgical School in particular.
7- Department of neurosurgery at the university hospital Sweden.
8- Pitie salpetriere, Paris with professor Pertrwiset.
9- Graduated from faculty of medicine Cairo University 1965.
10- Master in general surgery 1968.
11- Doctorate in neurosurgery 1972.
12- Visit to neurosurgery center in France, Germany, England and most European countries.
13- Working in neurosurgical center in Germany, with Professor Yazargil.
14- Working in neurosurgical center in England, Scotland, wales.
15- Working in neurosurgical center in United States, new York, Boston, Washington, Corneal, Los Angles, Texas, Canada and Chicago.

• تخرج الدكتور صلاح محمد كحله من كليه الطب جامعه القاهرة عام 1965
• حصل على الماجستير في جراحه العامة عام 1966
• حصل على الدكتوراه في جراحه المخ والاعصاب عام 1972
• قام الدكتور بزياره مراكز جراحه المخ و الاعصاب في الدول الغربيه والوليات المتحده الامريكيه والبلاد الاسكندافيه (السويد , النرويج , الدنيمارك) مما ذات خبرته في التعليم و الابحاث .
• كما قام ايضا الدكتور صلاح محمد كحله بزياره المستشفيات في هذه الدول و المرور علي المرضي و العمليات الجراحيه .
• واتيحت للدكتور فرصه لمعرفه طريقه ازاله الألام والجراحات الميكروسكوبيه كما تمكن من زياره اكبر مركز للمخ والاعصاب في المانيا في زيورخ و حضر في المعامل علي الفئران .
• كما قام ايضا الدكتور بزياره مركز جراحه المخ والاعصاب في جوهنسبرج و حضور المؤتمرات العالميه في هذا الصدد .
• كما قام بزياره مركز جراحه المخ والاعصاب في استكهولم في السويد .
• و كذا مراكز جراحه المخ و الاعصاب في اسلو و في النرويج هيلستكي .
• كما مكس ايضا في باريس (فرنسا) في مستشفي بي تي سايبترار Pities salpitriere
• و كما قام ايضا بزياره مراكز جراحه المخ والاعصاب في الوليات المتحده الامريكيه ( نيويرك , بوستن , واشنطن , شيكاغو )
• ومراكز جراحه المخ والاعصاب في انجلترا و اسكتلندا و ويلز
