When the teacher becomes the student…it feels so crazy that I have been helping bring babies into the world for 11 years now and have been helping families learn how to care for and feed these precious tiny humans. Now I get to be the one to experience it all! I am excited to have the first hand experience to share with my families and ready to learn so much more about feeding and caring for a newborn!

We need to talk about it: the postpartum period can be very hard and the more we talk about it the more we can learn from each other about how to make it feel more manageable and enjoyable and the more supported we can feel.
Talk to your friends and family about how you feel and what is going on. Cry when you need to and rejoice when you have a good day.
And if you don’t have anyone to talk to, send me a DM and I’ll be a listening ear.

At first it felt weird asking people to share reviews about me and then I remembered I rely heavily on reviews when choosing places to eat, places to stay, and when choosing a medical professional for my own personal care and I expect my clients to do the same. I am so thankful I’ve been able to make such a positive impact on the lives of all of these families and hope I can continue to do so for many more families. See more reviews on my Google page. What do I do when I’m not helping with feedings or educating families?? I travel and climb mountains!
Hiking is my happy place and I’m so thankful to have a partner that loves to adventure as well!
Life can be hard. Being a new parent can be hard. Remember to take time every day (even just a few minutes) to do something for yourself, something that makes you happy.
