Senior Consultant and Deputy Director of Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology.

Ahmed El-Balat is a Lecturer of Gynecologic Oncology at Goethe University in Frankfurt. After graduating from Alexandria University in Egypt he undertook his training in Obstetrics and Gynecology in north Germany. He obtained the Facharzt Degree from the medical association of Lower Saxony. Subsequently he performed his Subspecialty Training in Gynecological Oncology in the HSK Cancer Centre in Wiesbaden. After completing the subspecialty training Dr. El-Balat was appointed as Senior Consultant and Deputy Director of the department of gynecology and gynecologic oncology at the Goethe University in Frankfurt. Dr. El-Balat is also a leading member of the AGO-Study Group in Germany. He is also a board member and Treasurer of the Middle East Society of Gynecologic Endoscopy. His main research interests are: Borderline Tumors of the O***y, Sentinel Node Biopsies as well as laparoscopic oncological procedures.
