مريض بعمر 27 سنة حضر الى العيادة بـ ألم في الجزء الأيسر من الفك العلوي

بعد الفحص بجهاز الأشعة تم اكتشاف خراج اسفل القاطع الأيسر نتيجة لخطأ في علاج الجذور السابق .

بدأ العلاج بإعادة فتح السن و إعادة حشو العصب
ليصل الى الطول الصحيح لقناة العصب .

ثم انتهى بعلاج جراحي وفتح منطقة الخراج لتنضيف الجزء المحتوي على العدوى البكتيرية و إغلاق الجرح بخياطة متّصلة بسيطة لضمان إلتئام الجرح .

-27 male patient came to clinic complaining pain related to the upper left area

-Dx confirmed by x - ray revealed there is periapical abscess under upper left lateral incisor caused by over-extended root canal ttt

-Treatment is done by re-open the tooth, removal of the old Gutta percha and obturation till the actual working length.

- Flap, apicectomy & curettage to the infected area till fresh blood is present to promote the healing.

- the flap is sealed by simple continuous suture .

Male patient, 13 years old was undergoing orthodontic treatment and broke his tooth #11 while playing.

Tooth remains vital but loses extensive enamel structure, and free hand esthetic composite build up was prefered to preserve the tooth while keeping the orthodontic treatment.

Isolation was performed with teflon only, rubber damm was not applicable due to the brackets in place.

Notice the Enamel translucency by choosing dentin shade composite (A3) and drawing mamelons then completing the structure (A2) then finishing with the last layer (A1).

Bracket on the tooth will not exert any force on the restoration, only alignment is to be done upon finishing the ortho treatment.
