Yin Yoga & sound healing *October 20th*

Yin Yoga is a gentle, grounding practice that invites stillness into the body and spaciousness into the mind. Unlike more active styles of yoga that focus on strength and movement (sometimes called “yang” styles), Yin Yoga takes a slower pace. In this practice, we hold postures for longer periods—usually between 2 to 5 minutesdepending on the postures so we can work deeply into the connective tissues: the fascia, ligaments, and joints and we will be using singing bowls to help relax the body and mind into a deep state or relaxation where deep healing through surrender and stillness takes place
