Stars in the Garden🌟🌟🌟
The flesh is extremely juicy.
The taste is difficult to match, but it has been compared to a mix of apple, pear, grape, and citrus family fruits. In Southeast Asia, they are usually stewed in cloves and sugar, sometimes with apples. They may be cooked as a vegetable, pickled, or made into jams in Australia. In Jamaica, they are sometimes dried. In the Philippines, unripe carambolas are eaten dipped in rock salt.

Spinal Qi Gong retreat with Jan Golden
Oct 1 - 6
in Dzamling Gar

The spine and scapula and their 57 muscles are the font of all movement.
No spine, no motion.
As we age, sedentary habits can stiffen, weaken and atrophy the bones,
muscles and connective tissue.
In this retreat, we will cover not just conditioning exercises to loosen and strengthen the back, but we will access the core by means of breathing, standing and moving qi gong. We will finish with spinal pulsing qi gong to keep it hydrated and full of nutrition.
No experience necessary.

A beautiful parting gift.

A German artist who joined our retreat left the stone brought from France painted.
It reminded me the Japanese word: 一期一会
“Ichigo ichie” means
“Each encounter is unique and will never happen again in the same way"
We cherish every moment which is unrepeatable✨

Come meet us

6th Lungsang
It is important to remember that the purpose of all 8 Lunsangs is to retrain and reshape our breathing patterns and habitual way of breathing. In this way they effectively create the condition that guide the breath safely through the different movements and holds. With this in mind, the breathing needs to be fluid and smooth throughout the sequences to avoid inadvertent" microhold" as a consequence of forcing or tensing the breathing.

The course of 8 movements (Lungsang) with Fabio Andrico starts tomorrow in Dzamling Gar Gonpa ( ONLINE &ONLINE)

What are The Eight Movements?
The Eight Movements or Lunsang (meaning “purifying the prana”) are the key to harmonizing and reshaping habitual breathing patterns. They are one of the three sets of preliminary practices beloning to Yantra Yoga.

Each of them are named after the fundamental aspects of breathing it trains: slow inhalation, open hold, directed hold, quick exhalation, quick inhalation, closed hold, contracted hold, and slow exhalation.

Benefits of the Eight Movement
Coordinating the inhalations, holds, and exhalations with the count is a fundamental tool for harmonizing the way our breath, and thus our energy, functions. Our energy becomes balanced and relaxed, and our vital life force strengthens.
