Machst du Sport?
Teneriffa ist eine sehr sportliche Insel und auch ich nutze die optimale Lage für meinen Wassersport.
Schon seit 9 Jahren kite ich leidenschaftlich. Davor war ich 30 Jahre lang Windsurfer.

Welchen Sport machst du? Und was ist dir dabei besonders wichtig, um fit zu bleiben?

Generell braucht Kiten gute Beine und eine ordentliche Rumpfmuskulatur.
Um sich dabei nicht zu verletzen ist Dehnen essenziell.
Und natürlich das Warm-Up für die Muskeln nicht vergessen!

Do you do sports?
Tenerife is a very sporty island and I also use the optimal location for my water sports.
I have been kiting passionately for 9 years. Before that I was a windsurfer for 30 years.
What kind of sport do you do? And what is especially important to you to stay fit?

In general, kiting requires good legs and good core muscles.
Stretching is essential to avoid injuries.
And of course don't forget the warm-up for the muscles!

Pain point pressing is ideal as an acute therapy for pain relief in the musculoskeletal system.

The treatment is about looking for pain points.

These are found in the so-called Golgi tendon apparatuses, which are located at the transitions from muscles to tendons. There they are supposed to protect the tendons from being pulled too hard.

In pain point pressing, these defined points are activated manually with pressure and the signal for muscle relaxation is generated artificially. As soon as the muscle relaxation sets in, the pain is reduced.

Oft kann trotz schulmedizinischer Diagnostik kein eindeutiger Grund für Rückenschmerzen gefunden werden. Hier spricht man dann von „unspezifischen“ Rückenschmerzen.

Als Osteopathe suche ich mit meinen Händen den gesamten Körper nach Spannungen im Gewebe ab, um die individuelle Ursache des Schmerzes zu erkennen.

As an osteopath, I use my hands to search the entire body for tensions in the tissue in order to identify the individual cause of the pain.

In most cases, pain is a muscle pain and should be understood as a positive warning to protect our musculoskeletal system and to curb damaging behaviors. If only the joint is injected or pain medication is used, the factors causing the pain are not treated causally.

Pain therapy on the musculoskeletal system includes various forms of treatment:
