For those that do not know about us, we are a fully legal and insured Home Care Company, led by a British trained and Registered Nurse and our fantastic team of carers.

Our goal is to enable you or a loved one to live a comfortable life with support as required.

We are aware there are many companies that provide care services, our goal is to make sure that the care we provide goes above and beyond for our clients, the personal relationship with a carer must be based on trust, Empathy and the ability to help no matter what the situation. Finding the right carer for a loved one is a big decision and our team make it easier for you.

Our team of carers have many years of experience supporting all activities of daily living and specialist areas including:

•Tissue Viability
•Post Stroke care
•Companionship
•Specific conditions including MS, MND, and more

We work closely with both the private and social hospitals on the island along with insurance companies and can assist on repatriation flights back to UK and European countries.

Credit where credit is due:

Our team would like to say a big thank you to Sanasty Car Hire Tenerife for their excellent service over this Easter Weekend.

Late Friday, when one of our carers car brokedown, we needed a car as soon as possible to assist our care team with clients visits.

We reserved a car online (outside of office hours), Booking confirmation was given within 30 minutes and 9am on Saturday the car was ready and waiting for collection to enable our team to carry on with no interruptions to our service

From the online communication, Easy to use booking system and the girls in the office delivering the car, it was seamless.

On this island, it’s important that you can rely on companies when needed so thank you

Yellow / Orange Alerts

As the archipelago is under alerts due to weather, All social activities, sports and schools will be closed, we remind everyone to stay safe, Try to reduce all travel and look after those that may need additional help.

Our care team will be assisting our clients whilst also making sure that they themselves are safe, We hope everyone else does the same.

Whilst we know we get these warnings during each storm phase and sometimes nothing occurs in our local area, It is always right to err on the side of caution and take notice of official channels.

Our team is led by one woman, on International woman’s day we like to take a moment to thank our director Hannah, our very own strong, fierce,independent woman who is building a business whilst also raising a family on this beautiful island. Without her strength and determination HCP Care would not exist and today we celebrate that on IWD.

As we look to change the face of care here in Tenerife we want to thank all those who have put in us the trust of a loved one. Thank you from the bottom of our heart.

Our care team is predominantly a woman’s led domain and we like to take the opportunity to thank our carers who go above and beyond each day and show the power of what women can do.

Dementia -

Did you know that in Spain over 900,000 people live with Dementia, in The UK, Its roughly 982,000 with increases in both countries expected. In the UK it unfortunately is the leading course of death.

There are several types of dementia, with the most common being Alzheimer's disease, vascular dementia, Lewy body dementia, and frontotemporal dementia whilst Parkinsons, Huntingtons disease and other illness do fall into the category.

Our role in providing care to those who suffer with the condition is to make sure that both them and their loved ones are aware of the many stages that a dementia sufferer can go through. It is important that both the sufferer and their family are supported.

Officially there are 7 stages of Dementia - Each stage can last a number of months / years - Each dementia client will progress differently but the key is to try and understand the effects of each stage as the condition progresses.

From initial tests to ascertain if further medical tests are required, to just simple help and advice on the condition, Our team are here to help.

As we already head into Febuary and beyond we are thankful for all those who like, share and continue to support the work we do for both Tourists and Residents, our team are working incredibly hard providing care to those in need, From Palliative care to Repatriations, Standard Home Care to Dementia care, our team can cover it all.

Can we ask for any tourists wishing to visit the island this summer who need care - Please contact us as soon as possible, Ideally we need 6-8 weeks notice to book our holiday clients in, After that we unable to guarantee being able to provide care services during your stay.

We already have tourist bookings for Feb/ March / April /May and September and we would not wish for you to go without appropriate care during your stay.
