Today our residents enjoyed a special Valentine’s Day lunch.

Roast chicken and potatoes, stuffing, vegetables and gravy.
Apple strudel and cream.
Heart chocolates.
Rose wine and coffee.

Also this week some of our residents made cupcakes and decorations.
We all had a lovely day.

DAY CARE AND RESPITE WITH JASMINE CARE.

Respite is a break from the responsibility of looking after someone. It may be for a few hours, a day, a night or even weeks. Respite is a way of relieving the stress of being a carer. If you are a carer, making time for yourself is important for your own health and well being. At Jasmine Care we understand the importance of this.

We can offer two options for you..
1. A day of respite for carers/family is available from 10 – 6pm, monday to friday. We will care for the individual within our resident facilities. This includes personal care if needed, midday and evening meal and refreshments.
2. We can also offer care within your own home. Following an assessment of needs, a carer will come to you home for a set period of time and provide all the usual needs/care for your loved one.

Do you care for an elderly relative or friend?

Would you like peace of mind if you have to go shopping or to work but do not want to leave that someone on their own?

Do you need a break if you care for someone every day?

MEETING OUR STAFF.....

Hi my name is Mena. I am a care worker for jasmine care services.
> I have lived in Spain for seven & half years with my husband and daughter.
> I have been a care worker since 1981. Working with the elderly in residential environments for 18 yrs and 6 years in a large day centre. Mainly with young adults & the elderly, with various degrees of disabilities and illnesses. (24 yrs with social services).
> Since living in Spain I have worked with the elderly for 3 yrs using my skills and experiences that I achieved back in the UK.
> I have a NVQ level 2 qualification, certificates in moving and handling, basic skills in care level 1&2, and many more courses from the UK.
> As you can see, my career since leaving school has been as a care worker. Which I enjoy so much, caring for people who have various care needs. For me it is important to work in a professional & caring manner with all clients promoting individuality, empathy, dignity, social confidence, physically and emotional needs.

CHRISTMAS WITH JASMINE CARE SERVICES.

25/12/2012 Our residents were joined by family and friends on this festive occasion. The traditional English Christmas dinner of roast turkey, stuffing, roast potatoes and vegetables was enjoyed by all. Followed by Christmas pudding and mince pies.
Later Santa paid everyone a visit, giving out presents. Christmas carols and the queens speech finished off our joyous and festive day.

Jasmine Care Services are based within Sol Andalusi in Alhaurin de la Torre, Spain. We offer care and support for the elderly and frail up to 24hrs a day in a homely environment.
