☆ Weekend food for thought ☆
Tips for your own benefit! 😉
People look at me somewhat funny when I say I get a massage at least once a month, so let’s clear something up...
Massage is healthcare, full stop!
● It regulates the nervous system.
● It lowers stress hormones.
● It improves circulation and lymphatic flow.
● It reduces chronic tension before it becomes chronic pain.
● It supports sleep, digestion, hormones, posture, and mental clarity.
Most of what we’re putting up with calling “normal” - tight shoulders, jaw pain, headaches, poor sleep, burnout, depresión etc - is a body that hasn’t been given a chance to release.
Touch is a biological need, it releases endorphines ( the happy hormone), and it isn't a luxury.
Maintenance is smarter than crisis care.
Prevention is still healthcare!
Personally I don’t wait until my body is screaming to listen. Nor should you...
I don’t believe care has to hurt to count.
And I refuse to treat regulation like an indulgence.
Luxury is excess, massage is maintenance!
Treat yourself like someone you love because that is healthcare.
I do not pay for health insurance the way most people do. Massage is my assurance that my body can heal itself if I take care of it.
In order for you to start healing you need to understand that consistency is key and just a single session of massage once in a while won't help, it'll feels good - true! But you won't get results unless you will be consistent and view the healing process as a whole which also includes hydration, movement and rest!
Which is why - now and then - I kinda' preach you about drinking water, moving (going for a walk etc)
I know... Mona is a pain in the back side....😉😊
Love to all and have a fab weekend.
As we speak I am holding Buddy's hand as he had a surgery and he is feeling sorry for himself...therefore this weekend is all about soothing my liccle man aches and rest.
P.S: apologies for the long rant, but hence I am hostage on the sofá with Buddy I had to write this informative "essay" down for you, my beautiful friends and customers.
Open to debates in the comments, if you have questions or you are curious about things...
