Very Sad News:
We have lost Sensei Yuji Yahiro, who passed away on October 20th, 2025.
We are deeply shocked by the sudden disappearance of our Maestro, our Okido Yoga Spiritual Guide, founder of the Meiso Shiatsu Therapy Academy, CEO of Mikkyo Okido University, philosopher, researcher, and above all, an outstanding human being.
He was the father of eight children — a true example of unconditional love and dedication to life. ❣️
I want to express my sincere condolences to Maestra Lorena, to his wonderful family, and to all students, instructors, therapists and Okido Yoga practitioners worldwide for this immense loss.
I had a very particular dream on Sunday night, 20th October and now I understand its meaning. I know Sensei Yuji Yahiro would not want us to cry, but rather to put even more effort into becoming truly human, loving, and evolutionary.
During my first twenty years of study, I was able to apply all his insights to my professional life as a Meiso Shiatsu therapist, Okido Yoga instructor, and lifestyle coach, as well as in organizing inspirational Yoga & Hiking retreats across Europe.
I had the privilege to experience many teacher training programs, conferences, and intensive Okido retreats guided by Maestro Yahiro.
Later, after leaving Italy, I continued visiting the Dojo, always welcomed with warmhearted kindness and wise counsel.
Master Yuji Yahiro had a truly powerful way of teaching. He gave us countless valuable tools — above all, the daily practice of gratitude, even in hard times or when facing pain and weakness.
In the most difficult moments of my life, when I was hurt or lost, it was through Oki-Do studies and Sensei Yahiro’s teachings that I found the strength to rise again, to smile, to laugh, and to find solutions — every single time.
