a week of runs training for London marathon!!!! 🫵🏻🫦🏃🏼‍♀️☀️🤠💘🌟🥣

this week consisted of:
🪩 x2 easy runs
🌟 x1 long run
💗 x1 FAILED speed session (turned into easy instead xx)
💭 x3 sauna
✌🏻 x2 strength

body is feeling very tired this week so that’s why I listened to it and skipped my speed session 🫵🏻🫵🏻🫵🏻🫵🏻🫵🏻

next week i have the longest long run on my training plan 😄😄😄😄😄 send help x

mentally found this one tough from about 12km bc of all the hills I had to stop and walk 🫵🏻🫵🏻🫵🏻🫵🏻🫵🏻 normally doesn’t affect me but I think I’ve got too comfortable doing my long runs in flat London 🫦

and what do you mean there’s only 5 long runs left????? and 3 of them are really really long???? where has the time gone 😄😄😄😄😄😄

proud I am sticking to my speed sessions in this block as they are disgusting in the moment but boy they do feel great afterwards trust me !!!!!!

first time actually sticking to my plan ever and it’s paying off, really is that simple ###

a week of workouts training for the London marathon 🫵🏻🪩🤠💖👯‍♀️⭐️🏃🏼‍♀️🏅

this is what last week looked like:
🥐 Monday: 8km easy run & 30 mins sauna
💜 Tuesday: leg day (focusing on single leg movements) & 30 mins sauna
🤠 Wednesday: 5km easy run
🌟 Thursday: 31km long run
💘 Friday: rest day & 30 mins sauna
🪩 Saturday: upper body & 20 mins bike
🫵🏻 Sunday: 11km intervals (ew)

every week looks different & everyone’s training looks different, this is just what works for me 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️

also I literally stretch & foam roll everyday (or try to) and eat LOTS 🍫🍟🍓🥑🍜🍉🍯🥣
