Living with Adrenocortical Carcinoma (ACC) can feel incredibly lonely. Because so few people have heard of it, many patients begin their journey without a roadmap.

That’s why awareness matters. Increasing public visibility and recognition help connecting people affected to each other, to the right specialists, and to answers. Shorten the path to diagnosis, build stronger support networks, and empower patients to feel less alone.

On the occasion of International Adrenal Disease Awareness Day -which coincides with the World Health Day (April 7)-, at we reaffirm our commitment to people with ACC. Because improving lives -our purpose- also means listening with empathy, collaborating, and working every day so no one must navigate their journey feeling isolated or invisible!

Together with the healthcare community, patient advocates such as , and public institutions, we continue to push for a healthcare system that truly sees, hears, and responds to people’s needs – offering not only solutions, but also hope, connection, and support at every step.

At , being a B Corp isn’t a badge. It’s a commitment.

A commitment that is part of who we are and what we stand for.

Generating positive impact requires intention, ongoing learning, continuous improvement, the willingness to be evaluated with honesty, and, above all, collective efforts. We truly believe that the people who make our purpose tangible day after day are our more than 2,000 colleagues, together with our partners and the communities around us.

This –our very first- we celebrate all our teams for inspiring us to grow, to evolve, and to make better decisions for the society and the planet. Thank you to everyone at ESTEVE for your commitment to our ESG strategy!

And a deep gratitude to BLab and the 10,000 companies in the B Corp movement, because together we are raising the bar of what responsibility truly means!

Glaucoma is one of the leading causes of blindness worldwide, according to the World Health Organization (WHO). In many cases, it presents no symptoms in its early stages and many people don't realize they are living with this eye disease until it has already affected their vision. In fact, it is estimated that up to 50% of people with glaucoma are unaware they have this eye disease.

On World Glaucoma Day, it is important to raise awareness about the daily challenges faced by people living with this silent condition, as well as to highlight the relevance of regular eye check-ups, early diagnosis, and
proper follow-up. Because the progression of glaucoma and the associated loss of vision can be slowed with early diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

And this is why, at , we are committed to listening to patients and healthcare professionals to help develop solutions that address their real
needs.

Celebrating International Women's Week at ESTEVE!

These days, our teams across all sites and countries join together to reaffirm our commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equality.

As part of the central activities, we had the privilege of welcoming Karina Gibert, Head Director of Intelligent Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Research Center (IDEAI-UPC), to our headquarters for a session on 'Biases and Opportunities of Generative AI'.

Karina highlighted how AI, when properly trained and corrected for biased data, can become a powerful tool to close gender gaps in healthcare. From designing more inclusive algorithms to developing personalized therapies based on real-world data, she reminded us that technology must reflect the diversity of the population it serves.

Because when we train AI responsibly, we have the opportunity to correct distorsions and build solutions that truly work for everyone.

Our gratitude to Karina to shed light. And a big thanks also to all the teams across geographies who contributed to this March 8th initiatives, activities and reflections. Your involvement shows that gender equality is both a shared responsibility and a shared achievement.

Let's continue learning, sharing and driving positive change together!

As we move beyond Rare Disease Day, we would like to reflect on how we brought our campaign to life at ESTEVE.

Our teams played the hopscotch game and realized, jump after jump, some of the daily challenges people living with rare diseases may face: ranging from uncertainty and delayed diagnosis to a wide range of physical symptoms and pain, as well as a considerable psychological and emotional impact.

Together, we created a moment to reflect and better understand the importance of balance, resilience, and support patients, families, caregivers and healthcare professionals on their journey. It was a collective experience that reinforced a shared message: progress is built together with every step making a difference.

At ESTEVE, our commitment to improving lives of people with rare diseases goes beyond words and awareness. It is about fostering understanding, encouraging empathy, and strengthening our purpose to addressing significant unmet medical needs through science, collaboration, and, what best represents who we are, highly specialized treatments.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this campaign meaningful; and our sincere thanks as well to organizations such as , in Spain, or , in France, for giving us the opportunity to join them on such a significant day. Because advancing healthcare is not a solo effort, we play this round as a team!
