The 2018 INEBRIA Conference will be held in Santiago, Chile, September 27-28 and hosted by Chilean Ministry of Health (MINSAL), Chilean Nacional Service for Prevention and Rehabilitation on Drugs and Alcohol Consumption (SENDA) and Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

The title for this year’s conference is "Challenges faced in the implementation of brief interventions in diverse settings, contexts and population groups". The Conference’s overarching goal is to present, summarize and debate about the latest developments and advances on scientific research and programs evaluation related to Brief Interventions for Alcohol and other Drugs.
Registration and abstract submissions (research/program evaluation, symposiums or workshops) will open on 19 February.

Taking place in South America – for the second time since the conference in Ribeirão Preto, Brazil, in 2008 – this meeting will also provide a great opportunity to stay and enjoy the city of Santiago, Chile, and the south part of the world.
