It is a healthy, long-lasting and sustainable menstrual cup, that raises the quality of life for women and girls worldwide. This way, you can improve your own menstrual health while helping underprivileged girls access a long lasting female hygiene solution that helps them live their life without worries about their menstruation. About Ruby Cup

Ruby Cup is a healthier, more sustainable, cost-effective and eco-friendly alternative to pads and tampons. Made from 100% soft, medical grade silicone, our menstrual cup is safe, comfortable and hygienic.

Quite simply, Ruby Cup makes a world of difference. It will transform how you manage your period and help promote menstrual health in developing countries.

How?

We call it the ‘Buy One, Give One’ programme. For every cup we sell, we’ll donate one to a girl or woman without access to menstrual care products.

You’ll be helping a fellow menstruator, as well as helping to reduce the negative impact that disposable sanitary products have on the planet. Just goes to show that when we all do something small, the changes can be huge. More about that in our annual impact reports.

Do the Ruby Cup donations really help?

We don’t just hand out Ruby Cups and hope for the best. We make sure the donated Ruby Cups have a long-term, positive impact for the girls that receive one. To assure that, we work close with local NGOs who involve the entire community.

The girls attend a reproductive health workshop, where they get sound information about how their bodies work and a solid introduction in how to use a menstrual cup. You can read more about how we work here.

Our mission is to provide a sustainable menstrual health solution to all people regardless of their income. We strive to dismantle taboos surrounding menstruation by delivering sound education on reproductive health and menstrual care so everyone can live their periods with dignity, free of shame.

At Ruby Cup we care about the planet and how we do things. That’s why we chose sustainable, eco-friendly packaging and print all our marketing materials with a cradle-to-cradle printing supplier.
