💡 𝐃𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡?
Control is a fascinating topic. ☺️
We like to believe we have control—over our lives, our choices, and even those around us.
We don’t necessarily want to “control” others, but we do want them to behave in a certain way: we want our spouse to understand us, our children to be happy or to do well in school.
These are, in fact, subtle forms of control—so subtle that we often don’t even realise it.
𝐵𝑢𝑡 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑎𝑏𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑜𝑢𝑟𝑠𝑒𝑙𝑣𝑒𝑠? 🤔
Do we really control our reactions, emotions, thoughts?
Do we control our body?
Do we control our health?
𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲?
Yes, but for that, we need an essential tool: knowledge.
Understanding the mechanisms that guide our health and body is the key to success.
𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐮𝐬, 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬:
💡 The 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝 and
💡 The 𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝 (our body's intelligence).
And guess which one has the final say?
The 𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 - our own body.
𝐖𝐡𝐲?
Because it is the “unseen part” of us, like an iceberg.
We, the conscious mind, are just its tip—the visible part.
But the largest part of the iceberg is underwater, hidden, influenced by strong currents.
Similarly, our body is guided by automatic mechanisms, deep memories, and experiences accumulated throughout life.
When we get sick, it’s not because we choose to, but because our body, guided by the subconscious, makes that decision based on factors we may not even fully understand.
But we can learn.
𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨 𝐰𝐞 𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡?
Just as an iceberg cannot change its direction on its own, neither can we “force” our body to do something that is not aligned with its internal mechanisms.
But we can learn about the “currents” that influence us and gradually guide ourselves towards a better direction.
Some people naturally have this instinct - 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑦 𝑖𝑛𝑡𝑢𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑙𝑦 𝑘𝑛𝑜𝑤 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑖𝑠 𝑔𝑜𝑜𝑑 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑚, 𝑙𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑛 𝑡𝑜 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑖𝑟 𝑏𝑜𝑑𝑦, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑎𝑐𝑡 𝑖𝑛 ℎ𝑎𝑟𝑚𝑜𝑛𝑦 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑖𝑡.
But what if you’re not one of those people?
𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧. 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝐛𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩.
You learn to understand your body…
…to decode its language,
…to discover what influences it and what helps it function better.
And that is exactly what I will discuss in the following articles.
I will explore the relationship between the conscious mind (us), our body, and the subconscious,
how we can influence internal processes, and how we can become true partners in our own health.
💪 𝐔𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧, 𝐚 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐞𝐱𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐞:
What if we started by letting go of the need to control those around us?
🥰 Let’s offer our support without trying to shape their choices. Because just as we have the ability to understand our body, they also have the power to find their own path. 🥰
