Today I visited one of the Buddhist temples Che Di Luang in Chiang Mai, and straight away went to the corner where You can ask questions to a monk. We talked about detachment, purpose, getting away from stagnation by being present. In this present moment I create future, past is gone and future is only a illusion in my mind. Sometimes I catch myself worrying too much of what might happen ahead and not really appreciating what is in front. Hey, Life is happening now, isn’t it? As to detachment, a good reminder is that by looking for happiness outside of myself is like looking for fools gold. It will never bring satisfaction, everything comes from within. I am the main source of everything I need. And then when the cup is full, I can share it with others. ❤️

I extended my stay in Asia 😬 Currently living in Chiang-Mai and looking for teaching opportunities here in Thailand. When one door closes another opens? PRASARITA PADOTTANASANA (variation) Intense leg stretch pose. This asana not only is a good stretch but also helps the heart to get into a resting position. On a daily basis, the heart has to pump extra blood in order to supply oxygen and energy to our brain. Inverted poses bring the head underneath the heart and this makes it easier for the heart to get a rest from the challenges of the gravitational pull and the brain receives extra blood. The brain cells are activated. Stress and anxiety are reduced almost immediately and brain fog is diminished. One of my favorite hip openers YOGI SQUAT. Although you're likely accustomed to comfortable chairs for sitting, the squat is actually a natural position in Eastern cultures for eating, cooking, waiting and reading. People who sit in this deep squat on the streets of India, China and Indonesia aren't practicing Yoga; rather, they have the suppleness and strength in their joints and muscles to make this position feel natural and comfortable.
1️⃣ After DOWNWARD FACING DOG jump between Your legs. Your feet are strong and grounded on the mat.
2️⃣ Take Your palms together to Your chest, maintain spine straight.
3️⃣ With elbows push Your knees outside and open Your hips even more.
‼️ PLAY TIME 💁‍♀️🙃 ( I love that You can play around in YOGI SQUAT and not only open Your hips but also Your chests and work with strength).
4️⃣ release Your right hand on the mat and rise left one up, open Your chests.
5️⃣ Bring that left hand behind Your back and try to catch both of the palms together. Stay here for 5 breaths.
6️⃣ After move all of the weight to the left side and come with the right foot closer to the left one. Bring that right side of Your body up, and slowly take Yourself up, extend Your back and stay here for 5 breaths.
‼️ BENEFITS of YOGI SQUAT
YOGI SQUAT directs your energy downward and uses gravity to stretch your inner groin and thighs. Practicing it regularly in your yoga practice strengthens your thighs, adds mobility to your ankles and stabilizes your energy

You know how during the Summer with all the travels, beach days and fiestas You can easily get out of Your routines and good habits. 🤷‍♀️ Well I am guilt for this. To get back on track and remind myself how important is to stay healthy and be productive I listened interview with , bot of them are just amazing! Here are some of my notes:

✔️Write the problem/ bad habit on the paper and keep it there until You have taken it outside of Your body. And then it’s only on Your paper. Get it outside of it.

✔️The most interesting person is the most interested.

✔️If I want to be free I have to be me.

✔️You build confidence by learning.

✔️ Talk to the light not the dark.

✔️You are programmed to quit.

✔️ I am improving my DNA identity every day.

How do You START YOGA?
I usually start my practice with Head rolls and SITTING SIDE STRETCH
1️⃣ Sit upright in a comfortable cross- legged position. Place Your right hand on the mat, fingers pointing towards end of the mat.
2️⃣ Extend Your left arm above Your head, feel the stretch along the entire left side. Imagine someone is pulling Your left arm and You extend body even more.💁‍♀️
3️⃣ Take Your left arm closer to Your mat and flow to the opposite side. Extend right arm above Your head.
4️⃣ x2 stretches each side, stay for 5 breaths. Eyes towards the elbow or up. Maintain Your back straight and chest open.
More stretching , less stressing 💛

How to TRIKONASANA? (Triangle)
LOVE this asana as a perfect following posture after Sun salutation to catch a breath and length whole body.
1️⃣ Start into Your Warrior, legs about 3 feet apart. Strong and long legs, wide open arms. Shoulders in line with Your arms.
2️⃣ Your front foot is looking straight, Your back feet in in the middle of Your front foot, turned inward 60 degrees.
3️⃣ 3. Maintain stability in your legs, and with an exhalation, rotate your pelvis, abdomen, chest, and head down closer to Your leg. Extend Your arm over your left leg.
4️⃣ Maintain both of Your arms in one straight line. Open Your chests, push Your left hip forwards, right hip back.
‼️ Here the main point is to open Your chests, not to reach the ground or grab Your ankle. You can release Your hand also on Your knee. As far Your arms are in straight line and chests open.

Increases circulation in your lower spine, abdomen, and pelvic region; improves balance; teaches you to rotate your spine while maintaining stability in your torso and legs.

Put Your hands into Jnana MUDRA, say whaaaat?? 🤔 I often see confused faces after word MUDRA. So what are MUDRAS and why do we use them?
MUNDRAS simply mean hand gestures, each hand gesture has spiritual meaning.
In Yoga we use postures to tone the body and build strength. Mudras or hand gestures are used in meditation for the same reason, to tone and strengthen the mind and Your consciousness.
1️⃣ JNANA MUDRA
Gently tuck the tip of the index finger under the tip of thumb. This MUDRA deepen concentration and fixes Your mind. JNANA MUDRA represents the unity of individual consciousness and supreme consciousness. 🤝 This MUNDRA is perfect for meditation.
2️⃣ ANJALI MUDRA (swipe right)
Palms of Your hands together and place them in the middle of Your chest. This MUDRA is commonly used for prayers. ANJALI MUDRA brings the left and right side of Your brain together. United feminine and masculine energy into harmony. It is also used as a greeting, and as a acknowledgement to the divine within each person.
