Prof. George John Nychas

Dear Colleagues, dear friends,

As hosts of the FoodMicro 2022 we have been working tirelessly to welcome you all in Greece and ensure a successful and productive Conference. We have been monitoring the global situation with the spread of COVID19 on a daily basis for the past few months and have been dealing with the dilemma of postponing the Conference. As our aim is to bring to you a high-sta

ndard scientific event, whilst keeping as our first priority the health and wellbeing of participants we have decided to postpone the conference for August 28 to September 1, 2022. All your services (registration, hotel bookings, abstracts submitted), will automatically be transferred to the new finalized Congress dates mentioned above, and at this point no further actions are required from your side. The Professional Congress Organizer will be in direct contact with you soon about the next steps. On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we would like to thank you for your understanding regarding this matter and your continuous support towards FoodMicro. In case you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Professional Congress Organizer by email to info@foodmicro2020.com

Welcome Letter

Dear Colleagues,

It will be a unique honor and pleasure to host FoodMicro 2020 in Athens, Greece. The conference will be accommodated in facilities of outstanding architectural and functional quality in the Center of Athens, in close proximity to hotel accommodations.

I am confident that the aura of the Hellenic millennia – old intellectual heritage together with the Next Generation Challenges in Food Microbiology , will have a positive impact on the enthusiasm of the delegates’ participation and the productivity and success of the Symposium.

The opportunities to explore the rich heritage of our historic city, in which the foundations of the most cherished principles of our western civilization were born 2500 years ago, are truly limitless. We look forward to welcoming you all in Athens, September 2020!!!
