I have now been signed off by Doctor, after my Appendix Surgery and therefore ready to get back to work .

I am no longer in Mojácar, but have moved Zen to a lovely space at home.

This is a 25minute drive inland along the coast , towards Palomares & Villaricos.

Sadly I need to cancel all booked appointments, due to Appendicitis and subsequent removal of my Appendix . 🤕

Many apologies to all affected clients .. and many thanks too for all of your support.

I’m going to be unable to work for at least 6 weeks.

Since opening Zen - June 2020 I’ve not taken an extended break. This recent health matter has also highlighted I just need some rest.

I will be therefore be taking time off until early September. At which time I will update on opening hours and my new location! Yes a rest is as good as a change and I’m taking this unexpected illness to revise a new offering. Watch this space!

I can’t thank all my wonderful clients enough, that have supported this small business in the last 5 years.

I look forward to some rest and then seeing many of you again in September.

A bit of a change at Zen , Adventure bikes Scott Chance & Natural Beauty Donna Marie. The signage and overhead Pergola are being replaced, but we are all still inside ! Card payments no longer accepted at Zen ( mainly because I’m a technophobe 🙃. Thanks as ever for your custom, we are always grateful for supporting our small business !

The mandatory mask returns after respiratory infections skyrocket

The mask is mandatory again. The rebound in cases of respiratory virus infections has forced the health authorities to take new measures and some autonomous communities in the country have decided to 'cut to the chase' and once again make the use of protection imperative in certain places where there is a greater risk of contagion due to the rebound in coronavirus and flu cases.

This January 5, as a 'gift' from Kings, the Minister of Health, Mónica García, was the first to point towards the return of the use of the mask in certain places. Although she has spoken of a "recommendation", even two autonomous communities in the country have taken action and have already implemented its mandatory use. These are Catalonia and the Valencian Community, which this Friday announced the decision after respiratory infections skyrocketed.

Thus, the first to announce the measure has been the Valencian Community, where the Ministry of Health, as reported by Europa Press, has sent to the health departments of the Valencian Community an instruction from the General Directorate of Public Health that establishes the mandatory use of masks in health and social health centers as a preventive measure.

For his part, the Minister of Health of the Generalitat, Manel Balcells, has also announced that the mask is once again mandatory in health centers in Catalonia due to the "increase in respiratory viruses."

Two decisions that come after Mónica García, Minister of Health, recommended its use in situations of indoor crowds and "especially in hospitals, health centers and nursing homes, given the rebound in cases of respiratory virus infections in Spain ".

Likewise, García has referred to the call of the Interterritorial Council of the National Health System (CISNS), which will be held "immediately" next Monday and whose objective is "to evaluate, unify criteria and take coordinated public health actions in response to these epidemic peaks.

Regarding Andalusia, the Ministry of Health has not yet ruled on the possibility of reintroducing the mandatory use of masks, although the use of these in Andalusian territory continues to be recommended in certain situations.

They did bet on the return of the obligation from the Spanish Society of Family and Community Medicine, which this Thursday asked that the mask be used again in health centers due to the high healthcare pressure that primary care and emergencies are suffering. due to the high rate of flu and covid infections.
