Yesterday I learned that a client I have seen for 4 years had passed away. It’s such a mix of emotions—on one hand, I feel a deep sadness, knowing I won’t get to see them again, and on the other, I’m grateful for the chance to have cared for them and shared in their lives, even in the smallest way.
Another reminder of the preciousness of life and the importance of the work we do—no matter how small the act may seem. Rest in peace, and thank you for trusting me with part of your care.
