Let’s stop being afraid of our shadows.
The shadow is the projection of the light when it strikes an obstacle.
Thus, in our Life, our shadows, that we see reflected outside, in others, in any situation, are our inner Light which projects and reveals itself in the form of shadow while colliding with “obstacles”.
The shadow is light, without light there is no shadow…, without shadows we can’t recognize/remember that we are emitting light, that we are light.
What are these obstacles our inner Light collides with? They are the pieces we are using to create our character. And the more we get rid of these pieces, the less seams there are on our coat, the more can pass the light through, and the more we reveal our Essence, in order to dress and enlighten our seamless coat. The more passes the light through, the more visible become the shadow parts, pointing us out more obviously what we have to enlighten.
And these pieces that project the shadow are the ones we decide to add to our character to please, satisfy, be loved, seen, recognized by others. These pieces, these masks finally, arise from our wounds, that in one point made us feel abandoned, humiliated, rejected, betrayed, victims of injustice, unloved, forgotten (by ourselves firstly).
The work deals with revealing these pieces/shadows/wounds and embracing them to dissolve them while we let us feel, go through and let go the associated feelings.
Our wounds are ours, but let’s stop allowing them to define us.
They belong to us, but we are NOT our wounds.
We have to take charge of them, but not to load them as a burden.
