I’m officially on holiday! I’ll be travelling through Europe in the camper van with my girls — sunshine, nature, and adventure await. Time to recharge, slow down, and make memories. 💛

But did you know that the blue light from your phone or TV is telling your brain it’s still daytime?

This sneaky light blocks melatonin (your body’s natural sleep hormone) and makes it harder to drift off and stay asleep. Over time, it can throw your whole sleep rhythm out of sync—and yes, it matters even more during perimenopause and menopause when sleep can already be tricky.

Try these simple swaps to sleep like a king or a queen:
✨ Turn on night mode or use blue light filters
✨ Switch to warm, cozy lighting in the evening
✨ Give screens a break 1–2 hours before bed
✨ Soak up natural light in the morning to reset your rhythm

Pollen overload, anyone?
🌈 After the rain in Castelldefels this week, the air feels fresh, and the rainbow that followed was pure magic It also helped wash away the thick layer of yellow pine dust and pollen. What a relief! 

But here’s the thing: while this break is welcome, research shows that due to seasonal climate shifts, pollen seasons are getting longer and more intense. More people are experiencing hay fever, and symptoms are often worse than before.

At home, I feel like I’m constantly wiping down outdoor furniture, cleaning everything again and again… and that yellow dust just keeps coming back. 

It’s a reminder that climate change isn’t just about faraway glaciers—it’s happening right here, in our gardens and on our terraces.
Still, let’s not lose hope. Small daily habits can make a big difference. Let’s care for our planet while staying grounded in nature—rainbows, pollen, and all. 💚🌍

Let’s Talk Balance!
Omega-6 = the energy booster 

Another essential fatty acid! meaning your body can’t make it itself — you have to get it from food. Your need it for brain function, skin health, and energy.

BUT — here’s the catch 
Too much Omega-6 (without enough Omega-3) can push your body into an inflammatory mode. Balance is key!

Where do you find it?
- Sunflower oil, corn oil
- Peanuts and peanut butter
- Poultry (chicken, turkey)

Example:
A handful of peanuts is a tasty snack — but pair it with Omega-3 foods like salmon or chia seeds during the week for that perfect balance!

What Are Omega’s and Why Are They Important? 

Lately, I hear many people talking about omega supplements... "Should I take them? Are they good for me?"

But let’s be honest — do we actually know what omegas are and how we can get them naturally through food?

Omega’s are healthy fats your body needs to stay strong, sharp, and vibrant.
They help your cells work properly, protect your heart, calm down inflammation, and even support your brain and mood!

There are 3 main types:
✨ Omega-3 (the inflammation fighter)
✨ Omega-6 (the energy booster)
✨ Omega-9 (the heart’s best friend)

 I like to think of them as tiny superheroes flying around inside you, keeping things running smoothly.
Over the next few posts, I’ll break down what each one does, why they matter, and how you can easily get them from real food — because supplements aren’t always the first step!
