DoorDash Best Buy Return Stuck “Processing” Since 4/13 — Still No Refund After Multiple Escalations
I ordered a Best Buy item through DoorDash — a Razer Viper V4 Pro mouse — and the total came out to about $188.
I returned it, had the barcode scanned at the store, and uploaded the return receipt/photo like DoorDash asked. The return page has said “Your return is processing” since 4/13. It also says the refund request was sent and that I’d get an update within 4 business days, but it’s still stuck in the same status.
I’ve contacted DoorDash support multiple times, and every time they basically tell me they’re going to “escalate it to a higher team,” but nothing actually changes and I still haven’t received the refund. The only refund showing on the order is -$0.09, which obviously isn’t the actual refund for the item.
Has anyone dealt with DoorDash retail returns taking this long? What should my next step be — keep contacting DoorDash support, reach out to Best Buy, or dispute it with my card issuer?
I’m not trying to get stuck paying nearly $190 for an item I already returned.
